Day 1: Today we board our luxury motorcoach and make our way to Greenville, South Carolina where we will enjoy our overnight accommodation and evening at the Drury Inn. Enjoy the Kick-Back Reception.
Day 2: After an included breakfast we will depart for Savannah. En-route, we will enjoy a guided tour in another charming town of the south, Beaufort, SC. Once we arrive in Savannah, we will check into the new Drury Inn in Savannah and board the Georgia Queen Riverboat, brimming with old-fashioned charm. It is the largest and grandest Riverboat in the United States. Dinner and cruise will be included tonight. B, D
Day 3: Today we have arranged a Historic Savannah narrated Trolley Tour for your enjoyment. Our narrator will share history and stories about this beautiful Southern City. See the highlights as our trolley winds through the Savannah Historic District pointing out specific points of interest that helped make this city great. After our tour we will include a delicious lunch at The Lady and Son’s Restaurant. After lunch, spend some time along River Street & its cobblestoned charm. When land meets water extraordinary things happen, and this is River Street. Some suggested stops would be a stop at the Savannah Candy Kitchen, the place to experience and taste down home southern sweetness of the past 30 years or stop in to see the folks at River Street Sweets and the Savannah Bee Company. You might also visit the Byrd Cookie Company, a Savannah tradition since 1924. We’ll take our goodies and return to the Drury Inn in time to enjoy the Kick-Back Reception. B, L
Day 4: This morning, our first stop will be at the historic Andrew Low House, stunning from the outside, breathtaking within, its history will inspire you. This beautiful iconic 19th century home is in the heart of Savannah’s Historic Landmark District. We will enjoy lunch at a Savannah favorite restaurant today before setting our sights for Greenville and the Drury Inn. B, L
Day 5: After an included breakfast we depart for home excited to tell friends and family about your tasty tour to Savannah! B
