Day 1: We’ll depart this morning for our great little getaway north to Michigan, home of the famous TURKEYVILLE USA and the Cornwell Dinner Theatre! We will enjoy a lunch stop on our own before arriving at the Visitor Center in Battle Creek, also known as Cereal City. We will see the Cereal History Exhibit and learn about the Kellogg Brothers and more. This afternoon we will check into our hotel and refresh before departing for Turkeyville USA. Enjoy the old-fashioned ice cream parlor and fudge shop, 5,000 square foot gift shop before taking our seats at the Cornwell Dinner Theatre where you will enjoy a delicious traditional Turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Dessert is a piece of freshly made pie from one of grandma’s special recipes! Then sit back, relax and delight to the musical, THE NAUGHTY LIST. “Sparkle the Elf dances like a snowflake and has the voice of a snow angel, and she is always the star of the annual Christmas Pageant at Santa’s Workshop. But when a new and talented elf comes onto the scene and threatens to steal the spotlight, Sparkle is overwhelmed with feelings of jealousy that threaten to land her on...the Naughty List!” We will return to the hotel after a great evening! Day 2: We will depart mid-morning for our drive to the Back Forty Junction in Decatur, Indiana. We will enjoy an included buffet lunch at this famous Indiana eating establishment. After lunch we travel to Richmond and stop at the Warm Candle Glow Outlet for some early Christmas shopping. Plan to arrive home, pleased with all that we have seen and done, and anxious for the holiday season to arrive! B, L
