Day 1: We’ll depart this morning for our Indiana getaway. We’ll stop for lunch on our own enroute. This afternoon we will check into the Blue Gate Garden Inn for our one-night stay. This is a delightful hotel that gets top ratings from its guests. After refreshing we will depart for a wonderful evening. Our dinner will be an all-you-can-eat Family Style meal at the Blue Gate Restaurant before enjoying the memorable musical, “The Rise and Fall of Miss Fannie’s Biscuits”. Mysteries always have a way of following Fannie Miller, so when she makes it into the finals of the Tuscarawas County Baking Contest and contestants start disappearing, she calls on her old friend Foster Bates, a retired cop and part-time private investigator. One thing is for certain – Foster and Fannie will stay on the case until the end, and everyone involved will have learned something important about baking contests, solving mysteries and life! We will return to the hotel after the show. D
Day 2: After our breakfast we will meet our tour guide and enjoy a deeper look at Amish Country. This is a land deep in rich tradition and culture, something we will all appreciate! Lunch will be included before we set our sights for home, anxious to share our autumn memories with family and friends. B, L
